FAQ
Welcome to our FAQ page. Here you can find answers to common questions about our online denture repair service. If you have any additional questions, feel free to reach out to our customer support team.

I’ve tried to superglue my denture, can you fix it?The truthful answer is – probably, but your denture may never be the same again! If you have tried, and failed, to superglue your denture then any glue residue on the surface will prevent the pieces from locating together accurately. If you have superglued it and it is still in one piece then we can only repair it in the position that you have superglued it in. If you send your denture to us then we will be able to advise you as soon as we receive it whether it can be repaired or not and any next steps that we recommend. We will not charge you if we cannot repair your denture and will issue a refund.

A tooth came off my denture, can you fix it?If you still have the tooth and you can send it to us then yes, we can fix it. If the tooth is missing then it will depend on where it is on your denture. As a general rule, if the missing tooth is adjacent to one of your natural teeth then it is unlikely that it can be replaced accurately without an impression from your dentist with your denture in-situ. If we replaced this tooth whilst estimating where the contact point is between it and your natural tooth then you could end up either with a gap between your denture and your tooth or the denture will not seat properly as the contact point is too great. If you would like us to assess your denture before you post it then feel free to email or Whatsapp us a picture of your denture and we will be happy to advise you.

Can you fix a broken metal denture? We can only fix it if the break is through the acrylic part. If the metal has broken then unfortunately we cannot repair this.
-
My flexible denture broke, can you fix it?We can only fix acrylic dentures. Unfortunately there is no chemical bonding between denture acrylic and the flexible denture material and therefore we cannot repair flexible dentures.
-
My natural tooth has fallen out. Can you add an extra tooth onto my denture? We can only return your denture back to its original condition and are not able to add a new tooth onto your denture nor make any additions. Your dentist will be able to assist and advise you regarding this as you will need a new impression of your mouth with the denture in-situ in order for this to be done.
-
Can you add a clasp to my denture?Unfortunately, we will not be able to add a clasp onto your denture. Your dentist will be able to advise you about this.

My denture keeps breaking. What can I do?If you have had your denture for some time or it was a denture that you got immediately after you had one or more teeth extracted then the most likely cause of the breakage is due to it being ill fitting. There is naturally some resorption of the gums over time and this is particularly pronounced around the site where we have had teeth extracted. This resorption causes gaps between the denture plate and your gum and when the denture is exposed to forces in the mouth then there is little support to diffuse these forces and this is when a denture can break. You will need to visit your dentist who will advise you on whether your current denture can be relined through taking new impressions or if a new denture will be required. Your denture may also keep breaking if you have a heavy bite, a large overbite or where your opposing teeth bite into your denture in such a way that there is not enough room to have a thick enough acrylic plate. In some instances having a metal denture may solve this problem but due to the complexities, and widely differing nature of our dentition, a dentist will need to assess you and offer you some options based on your individual case.
-
How long will it take until I get my denture back?We know how inconvenient it is to be without your denture and that’s why we work hard to ensure that we repair and post your denture back to you on the same day that we receive it. We use Royal Mail First Class 24 hour tracked service which is delivered the next working day. We will provide you with a tracking number so you can keep track of where your parcel is and change the delivery options if you wish to i.e. leave in a safe place or leave with a neighbour.
-
I am not able to get to a post office, can I arrange a collection?Royal Mail do offer a free collection service for most areas and they will even print and bring the postage label with them. Unfortunately this is not bookable for the same day but usually the day after. We recommend using either the Tracked 24 or Special Delivery service.
